Privacy Policy

How DineKit collects and uses your personal data, your rights under UK GDPR, cookies, and how to contact us or complain to the ICO.

Last updated: 4 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DineKit (“we”, “us”), a product of Web Level Up, collects and uses your personal data when you use this website (dinekit.co.uk). We are the data controller. If you have any questions or wish to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@dinekit.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Email address — if you sign up to be notified about DineKit updates.
  • IP address and a timestamp — recorded when you submit the sign-up form, to help prevent spam and abuse.
  • Analytics data — only if you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example pages visited, device type and approximate location). This does not identify you personally.
  • Server logs — our web host records standard technical information (such as IP address and browser) for security and reliability.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

  • Update emails — your consent (you actively sign up). You can withdraw at any time.
  • Analytics — your consent, given via the cookie banner.
  • Spam prevention and server logs — our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure and working.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, acting as our processors — namely Google (Google Analytics, where you have consented) and our web hosting provider. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s settings. Server logs are kept for a short period.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@dinekit.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit.
